Better schools’ better representation

Updated: Sep 29

Rep. Scialabba’s stance, on public education and diversity issues seems deeply at odds with the needs and values of many voters in Butler County. The fact that she didn’t attend public school in the area but is advocating for policies that could harm public education only adds to the concern. As prime sponsor of a bill like HSB2041, which would prohibit teaching diversity in schools, and her advocacy for removing books like How to Raise an Antiracist Baby, it seems she’s promoting a restrictive and exclusionary agenda.

With two of the finest schools in the state—Mars and Seneca—it’s essential to maintain policies that support their continued success rather than undermine them. Voters and children deserve better representation, someone who prioritizes quality education and intellectual freedom over political agendas. Novemeber 5th is right around the corner. Its time we moved Pennsylvania forward for the better.
