I had the pleasure of addressing the Regional Building Trades Council Yesterday (4/17). I consider it a privilege to be amongst those who quite literally have built our region, if not America. And doing it union, with the highest skilled, best compensated and safest workforce in the industry. I spent much of my career in the military, doing my part to defend American ideals and principles, as I will defend the rights of organized labor. Like helmets to hardhats, providing opportune transitions back into civilian life through rewarding careers in the construction industry.
